Noticing male menopause symptoms is vital if you want to be able to deal with male menopause depression and get back to being your normal, happy self. Male menopause is a very common condition, one that millions of men around the world today are dealing with. There are hundreds of different male menopause symptoms that a man may experience at the onset of this condition, but a few that are especially common.

Hot Flashes

One of the most commonly experienced male menopause symptoms is hot flashes; the same goes for women when they are at this stage in their life. Hot flashes are really considered as being the hallmark symptom of menopause, and is basically a temporary warming of the person’s skin, usually so much so that they go pight red and they find that they have to fan themselves or remove layers of clothing in order to cool down.

You basically feel as though the temperature in the room has gone up by about thirty degrees when in reality it is the same temperature and you are the only one feeling it. Hot flashes can be very uncomfortable and worst of all, people often notice when you are having a hot flash.

Irritability

Irritability is another of the male menopause symptoms most commonly reported. If you find that your husband is more irritable lately than he has been, then you may want to try talking to him about this. Try fishing around to see if he has been experiencing any of the other symptoms as well and if so you will want to talk him into getting in to see a doctor.

Decrease in Libido and Sexual Performance

Of course one of the first male menopause symptoms that wives notice is a decrease in the man’s libido and sexual performance. If your husband is not wanting to have sex as much lately or when he does he is not able to perform, there may be other issues at play, but male menopause may very well be the main cause for concern here.

At least it is nice to know that there are some great options for treatment available today and as long as he gets in to see a medical professional, he will be well on his way to finding a treatment that works well for him and which is going to hopefully be able to get him back to feeling like his old self once again.
